In this long-term process, new projects are already under consideration. Their implementation requires the co-operation of bowmakers, violinmakers, musicians and music enthusiasts from around the world.

Professional bowmakers and violinmakers agree that it is necessary to set up a self-perpetuating fund-raising mechanism.

For this purpose they intend to attribute a portion of the sale price of their bows to the Pernambuco Initiative.

Thus, when you choose a Pernambuco bow made or sold by the participating members of the I.P.C.I., you will be contributing to the conservation of this species.

You can, of course, become a member of the Pernambuco Initiative and / or make a voluntary contribution to the funding of I.P.C.I. projects. To do so, please fill out the enclosed coupon and send it to the address below :

Following an agreement between the bowmakers concerned and the Confederation, the I.P.C.I. is administered by Comurnat.

Comurnat is an interdisciplinary Confederation which regroups users of materials derived from fauna and flora species and co-operates in implementing measures aiming to ally the conservation of biological diversity and its sustainable use.
